What Is Revuie

John shares his experience developing Revuie. An app to revolutionise the way we review restaurants. By introducing features such as liking and following and a focus on genuine reviews. John’s goal is to ensure reliable reviews and create a platform that genuinely supports local venues.

Revuie creator John has meticulously tested features in order to refine the platform and drive users to participate in providing authentic and helpful reviews. Their intention is to establish a reliable source for users, making informed dining choices more accessible and more fun.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the app John envisions is the concept of micro-reviews. These concise yet insightful assessments allow users to provide valuable feedback without the burden of writing lengthy explanations. By embracing this fresh approach, John believes it’s possible to mitigate the decay of memory and enhance the reliability of reviews.

What Makes Revuie Different?

Remember, not all reviews are created equal. In a world where online restaurant reviews hold immense power over where we choose to dine, it’s important to question the reliability of these digital assessments. Are they trustworthy? Can we rely on them to provide an unbiased view?

Anybody who uses a well-known review site will know the frustration of fake reviews. A glance at the number one restaurant in Birmingham will be enough to write off the opinions of that app. Also for hospitality business owners, we have all shared their frustration of being targeted by an onslaught of negative fake reviews. Most of these reviews come from people who haven’t even stepped foot in the venue.

Revuie eliminates this by only counting reviews from people who have actually been to the venue. The app uses a five-star review system which they pair with a reliability score, and if the review is found to be unreliable it will not count towards the venue’s rating.
